The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organisation (SASO) diligently verifies HS codes in their 12-digit form.
To identify the correct HS code that applies to your respective product, you may use this below link:
SABER HS Codes – This link to SABER website shows you information on 12 digits HS Codes in reference to the Product Categories and corresponding Technical Regulations.
As an example, in the below screenshot, you can see all the different Saudi 12-digit HS codes available for the 4-digit HS Code ‘6402’.
You can from that determine the basic product category, the technical regulation it falls under and also determine if the HS code is regulated or non-regulated.
