Certain types of goods that are imported into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will require an IECEE Certificate. Find out what are the type products that are impacted and how you obtain this certificate.
To obtain a Certificate of Conformity (COC) for certain electronical products, the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) requires an IECEE Certificate in addition to the other mandatory documents.
The IECEE certificate is a document issued by SASO to prove that the products conform to the Saudi Arabia safety standards and is based on a valid CB Test Certificate and CB Test Report. The SASO IECEE Certificate is valid for one year and requires annual renewal.

- Mobiles and accessories (including mobile phone batteries)
- Portable charger (including mobile phone chargers)
- Laptops and tablets (including their chargers)
- Electronic watches
- Household dishwashers
- Electric water pumps
- Televisions and monitors
- Headphones
- Electronic devices used in (smoking) vaping systems.
- Small Solar PV Systems
- Lighting Products
