The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has announced some technical regulations updates regarding Water Consumption Rationalization Tools.
SASO has notified that as of 13th February 2021, products under ‘Water Consumption Rationalization Tools Technical Regulation’ must comply with the amended version of the Technical Regulation released in August 2020. To obtain Water Efficiency Labelling/Licenses, you will also need to refer to the Technical regulation released last year.
Valid Licenses and Efficiency Labelling that comply with the previous version of this Technical Regulation will be accepted until 13th of February 2021.
