SASO has published 42 out of 43 Technical Regulations in English and updated its HS Code classification for electric cables.
The updated Technical Regulations include products related to footwear, leather products, paper related products, building and construction materials, machinery, and others.
At the same time, SASO updated its list of IECEE products effective from the 1st of Nov 2021. The update emphasizes the use of HS Codes for electric cables. In particular, that there should be no misleading declaration by using HS Code classifications for lightening and telephone cables.
