The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has announced an update for allowed and banned gases used in air conditioning and refrigerating applicances.
In a recent Circular issued on 26/08/1440H (01/05/2019) in conjunction with National Center for Environmental Compliance Control, has released a list concerning the type of allowed and banned gases used in air conditioning and refrigerating appliances.
Please note that the type of gas used will also be reflected on the required Conformity Certificate.
