Following a recommendation of the National Program for Monitoring Pesticide Residues, SFDA has announced a new measure regarding tea and its related products with a Sri Lanka origin. As of 1st March 2021, all shipments of these products will require a Certificate of Conformity (COC) before entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The COC will ensure that the products comply with the approved specifications for pesticides.
