The Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality (SASO) has implemented a new process starting on 1st January 2021 regarding non-regulated products.
As of 1st January 2021, all products that are not under a specific Technical Regulation or that are Non-Regulated HS Codes will have to be registered on the SABER platform. It will therefore be mandatory to obtain Self-Declaration Form and a shipment certificate before importing theses goods into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
