The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has issued a reminder for textile suppliers. SASO accepts Ecological Badges or its equivalent to get a PC from Conformity Bodies like Cotecna without repeating the conformity assessment procedure.
Ecological badges are issued by various international organisations as a guarantee that the product contains no substance likely to cause allergies or harm the environment. This includes during the manufacturing process.
