SFDA added Food COC processing to the existing FASEH platform. Mandatory implementation is expected before the end of the year.
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has added Food Certificates of Conformity to the FASEH Platform. The FASEH platform aims to expedite COC issuance and was launched for Cosmetic COCs in October 2021.
Presently, Conformity Bodies (CB) like Cotecna have started voluntarily uploading COCs to FASEH. Mandatory CB FASEH implementation will start on 1st November 2022. Exporter/importer implementation is expected to start before the end of the year.
